No diving tanks or complicated equipment here: all snorkeling gear is provided, allowing you to easily explore Martinique’s underwater world from the surface.

Whether with family or friends, snorkeling is an accessible, convivial activity and ideal for discovering the marine fauna and flora of Martinique.

Your guide, Stéphane, is a state-certified diving instructor with extensive experience and a passion for marine biology. He has been diving in the south of Martinique for over 20 years and knows the various snorkeling sites inside out.
His role goes beyond accompanying you in the water: he explains the species you encounter, gives you the keys to better understand the marine environment and ensures you make the most of your snorkeling excursion in Martinique.

Snorkeling is accessible both to those already comfortable in the sea and to complete beginners.

Stéphane tailors his advice, equipment and guidance to each person’s level so that everyone can enjoy this underwater discovery in complete serenity.

Boat snorkeling departing from Le Marin

A trip is organized every morning departing from the Marina du Marin, in the south of Martinique:
Meet: 8:45 AM – Pontoon 6, Marina du Marin – Return: around noon

Places must be booked in advance online.
The snorkeling sites selected by Les Aquanautes are particularly well suited to snorkeling in Martinique.
They feature:

• shallow depth beneath the boat; good protection from wind and waves;
• coral reefs offering a great diversity of marine life;
• conditions allowing beginners to fully enjoy their experience.

Sailing times are kept intentionally short to maximize time spent in the water. The outing lasts approximately 3 hours in total and includes:

• a boat excursion; approximately 1h30 of snorkeling;
• observation of underwater fauna and flora; explanations from your guide;
• a snack and aperitif to share observations from the outing.

During the snorkeling session, Stéphane also takes photos of the participants and the marine life encountered, which will be offered to you as a complimentary gift.
